KC Metro Meet
Saturday September 24, 2005

The meet will be held at Ray-Pec High School. The van will leave school at 7:15. I know most of you will want to ride with parents or a teammate, that's fine. I'll just need to know by Friday. Girls in the first race (9th grade) should plan to be there around 7:45. Varsity should plan to be there around 8:15. Everyone else by 8:45 so you can watch the first race. Course map.

Directions from Sion:

Take I-435 east to 71 Hwy.
Go south on 71 about 15 minutes past Grandview to the Peculiar exit.
Take the exit and turn left back over the highway.
Take a left (north) on the outer road.
Go about 1.5 miles and you will come to the 5th & 6th Grade Center.
Ignore this and go left around the curve past the Freshman Center, the High School, the church to the next building, the Middle School.
The course is behind the Middle School.

9:00 9th grade girls (Monica, Bailey, Rachel)
9:40 9th grade boys
10:10 varsity girls (Maria, Anna, Natalie, Tori, Elise, Abby, Jackie)
10:50 varsity boys
11:20 jv girls (Megan, Abbye, Bailey, Kelley, Ginny)
12:00 jv boys
12:30 10th grade girls (Kate, Ashely, Emma, Colleen, Lauren)
1:10 10th grade boys
1:45 Awards

There will be 100 medals for the varsity race and 40 medals for the others. There are actually two divisions in the varsity even though there is only one race. They will award trophies to a large school and a small school champion.

Parents-I've been asked if some of our parents can help the Rockhurst parents sell t-shirts. I'll have more details later.
