KC Metro Meet
Saturday September 25, 2004

The meet will be held at Ray-Pec High School this year. The van will leave school at 7:30 sharp. I know most of you will want to ride with parents or a teammate, that's fine.

Directions from Sion:

Take I-435 east to 71 Hwy.
Go south on 71 about 15 minutes past Grandview to the Peculiar exit.
Take the exit and turn left back over the highway.
Take a left (north) on the outer road.
Go about 1.5 miles and you will come to the 5th & 6th Grade Center.
Ignore this and go left around the curve past the Freshman Center, the High School, the church to the next building, the Middle School.
The course is behind the Middle School.

Schedule:

8:30 Coaches meeting
9:00 9th grade girls (Ashley, Andrea, Lauren)
9:40 9th grade boys
10:10 varsity girls (Anna, Tori?, Elise, Keara, Jackie, Julie, Kristen)
10:50 varsity boys
11:20 10th grade girls (all sophomores except those on varsity)
12:00 10th grade boys
12:30 jv girls (everyone else)
1:10 jv boys
1:45 Awards

There will be 100 medals for the varsity race and 40 medals for the others. There are actually two divisions in the varsity even though there is only one race. They will award trophies to a large school and a small school champion.

Parents-We have been assigned to provide a person in the finish chute. We will need someone there for each race. I hope we can get enough people so no one has to do more than one race.
