The Storm had a great performance at the Kansas City Metro meet on Oct. 4. The varsity and jv both placed 7th, while the sophomore team placed 4th. The freshmen didn't have a full team. The varsity were led by Julie, Meghan and Kathleen, all posting time under 20:20.

The Storm Harriers dominated the Grandview Invitational on Sept. 25. In the varsity race, the Storm took the top 3 places (Julie Steilen, Meghan Kearney and Kathleen Gansner). The individual champion in the jv race was also a Storm runner (Anna Demetree), while the runner-up was her teammate (Ellie Stingley). The Storm handily won both team titles.
